Dresden plate and DHG chair pad - pillow!

Did you ever just 'need' a finish?!

Well I did!
I grabbed a couple of favorite blocks...
Some beautiful batik fabric that I would enjoy playing with...
And this is what was created!

Pillow Front & Back.

Didn't realize how dark it was in the room until I looked at the pictures below.  Still, love the way the quilting shows above ;)

I've always loved the look of the traditional Dresden Plate block and the Disappearing Hourglass is fast becoming a favorite of mine.

Here's a quick run through of my process:

Hope you are all enjoying your summer!

Is my fourth time to try to do this on my cell phone! I'm having user issues LOL. I want to say I agree with Joy, the quilting is very sharp! Also, I love the photo montage, it describes the process very well! If you create this in an app would you mind sharing the name of the app? I miss you my creative Rie. 😘

Yes, I feel that way all the time. Sometimes I pick little WIPs just so I can have my 'finish' because it feels so satisfying. I LOVE DRESDENS and yours is gorgeous!
